Players can fuse 2 NFT fighters to give life to a new Fighter. Through this process, the 2 NFTs are burnt and a new one is created:

High compatibility between two fighters leads to stronger fused fighters.
Abilities are transmitted genetically. Fused fighters inherit abilities from the two original fighters.
Fused fighters have the same amount of abilities as their “parents”, with an additional fighting ability slot.
When the fusion occurs, the rarest abilities will have a higher chance of being transmitted. Making, in most cases, fused fighters exponentially stronger than their predecessors.
When fusing, the two pools of abilities will be combined so that only 1/2 abilities is kept. Combining them so that rarer abilities are saved, while maintaining a base set of: 1 block, 1 dodge and 1 attack, 1 special.
Will fused fighters always win against other fighters? Does it push towards “pay-to-win” behaviors?
The level of challenge scales together with the player’s progression. Fighters with similar win rates are grouped together for the fights. Fused fighters have exclusive access to higher-tier tournaments with higher potential rewards. The competition is fiercer but also rewards better prize pools.
Ultimately, engaged players will want to use fusing mechanics to compete in more profitable tournaments for the same time spent per fighter.
